Wvi parcels out land and executes housing projects acting under the orders of the municipalities and OCMWs (municipal social service departments).

We perform these tasks in the role of a private project developer: this is because wvi has a public task. Nor are we a social housing company. We only build social housing for municipalities and OCMWs, and not on our own account.

Therefore, wvi does not build any houses on its own account for sale or rent. Both in case of new constructions as well as renovation works, we work together with private project developers (within the framework of the public private partnership) or with local social housing construction firms. We are responsible for project management, quality control and ensuring that all subsidy possibilities are made use of to the maximum possible extent.
